FIFA has officially released the match schedule for the highly anticipated FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Seychelles 2025™, marking a historic first as the tournament will be hosted by a CAF member association. This 13th edition of the competition will take place in Victoria, Mahé, from 1 May to 11 May 2025, promising thrilling beach soccer action in one of the world’s most breathtaking destinations.
Renowned as FIFA’s fastest, most action-packed, and goal-heavy tournament, the 16-team showdown will kick off with a round-robin group stage, followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the grand final. Fans can expect electrifying encounters as top international teams battle for the prestigious title.
A Tournament of Firsts
With 13 of the 16 teams already qualified, the competition will see the return of six-time champions and current holders Brazil, two-time winners Portugal, and last year’s runners-up Italy. Adding to the excitement, Chile, Guatemala, Mauritania, and host nation Seychelles will make their debut on the world stage, marking a monumental moment for Seychellois football.
