Celebrate India Day in Seychelles
Every year, the beautiful islands of Seychelles burst with color, music, and delicious smells during the “India Day” celebrations. It’s a event that celebrates the deep cultural and historical connections between Seychelles and India, showcasing the rich traditions both countries share.
You know, Seychelles and India have a pretty deep connection that goes way back. Indian settlers have been a big part of shaping the culture there for centuries. Even now, the Indian community makes up a good chunk of Seychelles’ population and plays a huge role in the country’s social and economic life.
There will be celebrations on the 12th & 14th August 2024
Experience a mesmerizing Kathak performance by the renowned Uma Dogra and her group on Monday, 12th August 2024, at 17:45 Hrs at ICCS Auditorium.
Don’t miss the Cultural Extravaganza and Food Festival on Wednesday, 14th August 2024, from 17:30 Hrs onwards at NSC Hall, Roche Caiman Sports Complex.
