Beach Soccer World Cup Is Coming to Seychelles

Seychelles as won the bid to host the 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
The announcement was made by FIFA President, Gianni Infantino on 16th December 2022, during the World Cup in Qatar.
It was also announced that the UAE will host the 12th edition in 2023 and that Seychelles will host the 13th Edition in 2025.
Seychelles Football Federation thanked the members of the FIFA selection committee for choosing Seychelles as a host country, saying “This will be a formidable opportunity to make our nation shine on the international scene, it will not only be a major football event but will also be good for tourism”
The FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup takes place biennially and brings together the best beach soccer players from around the world. Sixteen teams including the host country will need to qualify for the tournament which normally takes place over a period of ten days.
This will be the biggest and most important football tournament to be held in Seychelles since the COSAFA and Africa Beach Soccer cup competitions a few years ago.
