What is Stay & Play?

These engaging playgroup sessions are held twice a month on Fridays from 10:00 – 11:30 AM. One session takes place at the Airtel Canteen in Perseverance, providing a convenient location for families in the area, while the other is hosted at SNYC, YSB in Anse Royale, offering an alternative venue for participants in the southern region.

The program focuses on:

• Strengthening parent-child bonds through play and learning.
• Encouraging early childhood development through interactive activities.
• Providing teenage parents with confidence, parenting skills, and access to essential resources.

How Volunteers Make a Difference

Volunteering with the Elles Foundation is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the well-being of young families. As a volunteer, you can get involved in several impactful ways:

👶 Program Support: Assist in running Stay & Play sessions by engaging with children and parents in activities such as arts & crafts, storytelling, messy play, and motor skill development.

📚 Educational Support: Help deliver short workshops and Q&A sessions covering important topics like nutrition, oral health, domestic violence awareness, and parenting skills.

📝 Administrative Help: Support the team with managing operations, coordinating outreach efforts, and ensuring the smooth running of activities.
